The Ultimate Super Bowl Trivia Quiz v.2011

Now that Super Bowl XLV is over you may have fallen into football withdrawals.  Those shakes may last a little longer than normal thanks to the uncertainty of next season.  Well rest assured, we at SportyMcBloggin are here to add a little F-Ball'n joy to your vacant little hearts.

A couple years ago we posted the 2nd edition of our "Ultimate Super Bowl Trivia Quiz".  And since then a couple variations have occurred which compromised the original document.  However, we corrected the mistakes and patched it back up for proper quizzing.  And since Super Bowl XLV may have been the last big game in history... the 3rd edition may be the only one we have to change.

Here are the definitions of terms:

-Franchise names as recognized by the NFL: Cleveland Browns history is continued by their expansion team, Baltimore Ravens are a stand-alone franchise. Houston Oilers history continues with the Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans are a stand-alone franchise. All other franchises that have relocated continue their history: Chicago/St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts, Oakland/LA/Oakland Raiders, Cleveland/LA/St. Louis Rams.

-NFL seasons & calendar years: Since the Super Bowl has always been held in a different calendar year than the regular season, when referring to the season a Super Bowl was held we will use the year of the regular NFL season. For example: The Super Bowl held in January 1990 was for the 1989 season, and was played by the '89 49ers and the '89 Broncos. That's why they give Super Bowls roman numeric titles.
